Great location in Old Town Alexandria. Very close to the main shopping and dining area of Kings street. Parking was very convenient. Our room was somewhat small. We had two queen size beds. Unfortunately the fire alarm went off on our floor at 10:30 and we couldn’t get back into our room until almost 2 hours.

The location of the hotel, right on the Potomac in Old Town is amazing with fabulous restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel is modern minimalist and sleek. The onsite restaurant Hummingbird is delicious with great service. The room rate shoots up because of high demand for rooms so book ahead.

Through a booking site, we booked a 2 night stay for this coming weekend. Due to the impending inclement weather, we went through the booking site to simply request a 1 time waiver of the no-refund policy to apply balance towards a future weekend. The hotel refused to waive its policy. Pennywise and pound foolish, as the saying goes, as our family visits the area 2-3 times a year.

Blends right into the Old Town architecture and feel. Room was large with a modern bathroom and comfortable beds. Liked that we could bring our dog and the fee for this quite reasonable. Right on the water with nice places to walk along the river or in town.

I was able to block some complimentary rooms for my wedding guests. And some took advantage so it was very nice to be able to stay in the hotel together and get ready together. The hotel upgraded my room because of my upcoming nuptials and it made the experience all the more exciting and fun.

Had a very pleasant weekend stay here with my husband. Very comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. The location is perfect. We were able to walk to everything.
